The esports referee should be familiar with the regulations and laws of esports tournaments. An having knowledge of any changes and updates that may occur regarding it. The referee should not only know the general laws of the game that are set by the World Federation of ESports, but also be familiar with the laws of the league or tournaments in which he will assigned as an Esport referee; As some laws may differ in terms of the number of substitutions, the number of players, the size of the tournament, the duration of each game part, and other matters from one tournament and from one league to another.

Program synthesis

Graduates emerge as highly skilled professionals possessing a unique combination of expertise in the competition regulations, the roles of an esports referee in communicating with key stakeholders, supporting the day-to-day running of a tournament, reporting to the Gaming Operations staff, managing players, or ensuring the tournament is run in a timely manner and to schedule.

Objectives

Understand the current competitive environment of video games and understand the figure of the esports referee and be able to act as such in both amateur and professional competitions.
